Camelot Filly Runs Out An Impressive Winner

Thursday saw the Nicolas Clement-trained Assigned (3f Camelot - Entrust, by Danehill) run out an impressive winner of the Prix du Lac at Aix-Les-Bains.

The bay was sent off favourite for the twelve and a half furlong maiden, following a promising debut second in May. Franck Blondel rode her to make virtually all, quickening clear from over two furlongs out and won by an easy five and a half lengths on the line.

Owned by Mrs Emily Magnier and Linda Shanahan, Assigned was bred by Lynch Bages and Rhinestone Bloodstock out of a half-sister to Group 1 performer Big Maverick.
