Camelot Listed winner breaks course record
Many are predicting a huge year for Camelot’s first-crop three-year-olds and Wait Forever (3c Camelot-Mount McLeod, by Holy Roman Emperor) kick-started the campaign in tremendous fashion with a black-type success in Italy on Sunday.
The Alduino Botti-trained colt, bred in Ireland by Pier House Stud, set a new course record of 1 min 30.7 seconds when winning the Listed Premio Pisa under Cristian Demuro.
“Fabio Branca (on runner-up Villabate) tried everything, but my horse won like the best in the field,” said Demuro.
