Maiden Win For Promising Son Of Saxon Warrior

Rocket Warrior (2c Saxon Warrior - Moonlit View, by Exceed And Excel) took another step forward on Saturday to justify strong support in a maiden at Bath.

The Marco Botti-trained colt finished a promising fourth last time out and stepped up to a mile on his third start. Racing prominently under Harry Davies, he was ridden to lead inside the final furlong and kept on well to win by half a length.
