Yesyes (Camelot) Makes A Winning Debut At Haydock

Promising Newcomer Completes Double For Camelot

Juddmonte homebred Yesyes (3f Camelot - Shared Account, by Dansili) became Camelot’s second maiden winner of the day when making a taking debut at Haydock.

The Ralph Beckett-trained filly was sent off second favourite under Rob Hornby, who rode her to track the leader and was shaken up to lead two furlongs from home. Ridden entering the final furlong, she ran on strongly to win by two and a quarter lengths.

Earlier that day at Yarmouth, the progressive Title (3c Camelot - Danehill’s Dream, by Danehill) got off the mark in the mile and a half maiden under David Egan.

Trained by Roger Varian for Highclere Thoroughbred Racing, the son of Camelot had finished a close second on both his previous starts and showed the benefit of experience when making smooth headway from three furlongs out. Pushed along to lead from the two furlong marker, he was ridden out to win by a length and three quarters, with another five lengths back to the third horse.

A €175,000 yearling purchase by John and Jake Warren, Title was bred by Llang Bloodstock and is a half-brother to Listed winner Yesterdayoncemore (No Nay Never).
