Second Straight Stakes Win For Sioux Nation Juvenile
Sioux Life (2f Sioux Nation - Ninepins, by Rip Van Winkle) defied a penalty to record back-to-back Stakes wins in Sunday’s Listed Premio Repubbliche Marinare at Capanelle.
The Endo Botti-trained bay was last seen winning a similar Listed contest by two and a half lengths at San Siro and was partnered by Dario Vargiu once again on Sunday. She switched to the stands-side rail in the straight and ran on strongly to beat Tomiko (Footstepsinthesand) by a length and a quarter, with the pair finishing seven lengths clear of the field.
The Group 2 Premio Dormello is next on the agenda for Sioux Life, who is owned by La Tesa Spa. The daughter of Sioux Nation was bred by Allevamento Le Gi Srl Societa’ Agricola.
