Son Of Sioux Nation Records Impressive Maiden Victory

Manitou (2g Sioux Nation - Jowana, by Dutch Art) continued Sioux Nation’s impressive start at stud when drawing clear to win Tuesday’s six furlong maiden at Chepstow.

Trained by Archie Watson for Hambleton Racing, he has finished a promising third on both of his previous starts and was sent off favourite to get off the mark under Hollie Doyle. He raced prominently throughout, asserting at the two furlong pole and was ridden clear inside the final furlong to win by three lengths and three quarters.
