Ten Sovereigns Rated Champion 3YO Sprinter

Ten Sovereigns, the best son of phenomenal young sire No Nay Never, has been rated European Champion 3-Year-Old Sprinter of 2019. The handsome bay put up the sprinting performance of the season when running away with the Group 1 July Cup (see below) at Newmarket. That front-running display, in the second fastest time ever for the race, saw him earn a mark of 122, three pounds higher than runner-up Advertise.

As a 2-year-old Ten Sovereigns went unbeaten in three starts with two wide-margin successes at the Curragh followed by the Group 1 Middle Park Stakes in the third fastest time ever. Trained by Aidan O’Brien for the Coolmore Partners, Ten Sovereigns was bred by Camas Park, Lynch Bages & Summerhill.
