Dancing Tango (Camelot) Wins Her Maiden At Dundalk

Well Related Camelot Filly Delivers With Maiden Win

Dancing Tango (3f Camelot - Dream Approach, by New Approach) built on a promising stable debut to justify favouritism in Wednesday’s mile and a half maiden at Dundalk.

Twice placed in the UK, the daughter of Camelot finished second over course and distance on her first start for Joseph O’Brien last month. Sent off favourite to go one better under Conor Stone-Walsh, she raced towards the back of the field for much of the way and made headway from two furlongs out. Ridden to lead approaching the final furlong, she kept on well to win by two lengths and three quarters.

Owned and bred by Fishdance Limited, Dancing Tango is a full-sister to three-time winner Dancing Approach (Camelot). They are out of a half-sister to Group 3 winner Cabaret, herself the dam of St Mark’s Basilica and Magna Grecia.
