Getaway filly brings £240,000 at Cheltenham sale
Agent Anthony Bromley described Lust For Glory (4f Getaway-Maisie Presenting, by Presenting) as “drop-dead gorgeous” after spending £240,000 on the Getaway filly at the post-racing sale at Cheltenham on Friday evening.
Lust For Glory, the dearest filly at the sale, won her only point-to-point start for trainer Denis Murphy at Lisronagh on October 28 and she will join Nicky Henderson after Anthony Bromley outbid Willie Mullins’ agent Harold Kirk.
“I bought her for Mike Grech and Stuart Parkin, who have had some luck buying from this sale,” revealed Bromley. “Lust For Glory is drop-dead gorgeous. She was coveted by everyone here. Harold Kirk was underbidder and he's a good judge.”
