Son Of Getaway Destroys Opposition On Debut

Deploy The Getaway (4g Getaway - Gaelic River, by Deploy) powered home a 20 length winner on debut at Tallow on Sunday.

The Donnchadh Doyle-trained newcomer was sent off favourite of 12 runners in the Tinnakill House Four-Year-Old Maiden. Ridden to lead by James Walsh, he was five lengths clear at halfway and continued to increase his advantage, going much the best of the field with three fences left to jump. Racing clear from the second last, his nearest rival Our Miss Power (Flemensfirth) did her best to narrow the gap, but to no avail.
