Son Of Getaway Makes All To Impress Over Hurdles

Getaround (5g Getaway – Playing Around, by Act One) proved not for catching in Tuesday’s Novices’ Hurdle at Exeter, where he made all to win by 14 lengths.

The Ella Pickard-trained grey was making his first start over hurdles, having previously won his point-to-point and a bumper impressively in December. Tuesday also marked his first attempt over two miles and seven furlongs and clearly appreciated the test of stamina, going clear from two out.
