Son Of Yeats Delivers On Second Start

Committee Meeting (5g Yeats – Recession Lass, by Presenting) took a step forward on his second start to win the five-year-old geldings maiden at Ballycrystal on Sunday.

Handler Luke Murphy took the ride and settled his charge in midfield for much of the way. Improving to lead after the fourth last, he was soon clear and was ridden out on the run-in to prevail by a length and a quarter. The front pair finished eight lengths clear of the third.

The promising son of Yeats was bred by Daniel O’Sullivan.
