€210,000 Filly Continues Fine Time For Gleneagles

Richard Brown of Blandford Bloodstock went to €210,000 to secure an exciting daughter of Gleneagles at the Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge Breeze-Up Sale.

Offered by Hyde Park Stud, the bay produced one of the fastest times recorded at Tuesday’s breeze, which saw the sales ring fill when she made her appearance as Lot 201.

Bred by JK Beckitt & Son, she is the second foal out of the mare Heartlines, herself a daughter of dual Grade 3 winner Marietta. Demand has increased for Gleneagles following an outstanding 2021, which saw him sire seven individual Stakes winners, including Group 1 heroine Loving Dream. Highland Chief (Gleneagles) added to his sire’s tally earlier this month when taking the Grade 1 Man o’War Stakes at Belmont.
