Back-To-Back Victories For Son Of Gleneagles
Bring On The Night (3c Gleneagles – Brasileira, by Dubai Destination) completed back-to-back wins when leading home a 1-2 for Gleneagles in Sunday’s Prix de Solferino at Deauville.
The Andre Fabre-trained colt won his second start when last seen in March and was sent off favourite on return in the three-year-old conditions contest over an extended mile and a half. Tracking the leader under Pierre-Charles Boudot, he was asked to challenge two furlongs from home and ran on well to score by three parts of a length from L’Aigle (Gleneagles).
Bring On The Night was bought by owner Laurent Benoit as a yearling for €115,000. Bred by Ecurie Serval, the first crop son of Gleneagles is a half-brother to Stakes performer Bolleville.
