Gleneagles Colt In Command On Second Start
Curran (2c Gleneagles - Tipitena, by Camelot) produced a smart performance on his second start in Tuesday’s Novice Stakes at Newcastle.
Charlie Johnston’s representative finished well on debut to finish fourth and stepped up to ten furlongs on the second attempt. Racing in touch under Joe Fanning, he improved to lead from two furlongs out and always looked in command when keeping on well to score by a length and a half.
Bred by Gerrardstown House Stud, Curran is owned by Mrs S Russell and AM Russell.
