Gleneagles Filly Impresses In Diana Trial
Tabera (3f Gleneagles - Temida, by Oratorio) emerged as a leading fancy for the Group 1 Preis der Diana when running out an impressive winner of a Listed trial at Mülheim on Sunday.
The Miltcho Mintchev-trained filly was ridden to make all by Alexander Pietsch and quickened on the turn for home, racing on strongly in the straight to win by four lengths.
It marked a successful step up in trip to ten furlongs for the first crop daughter of Gleneagles, who made a winning debut at two, before going on to finish third at Group 3 level and most recently finished a fine fifth in the German 1,000 Guineas.
Bred and owned by Litex Commerce, Tabera boasts a fine pedigree as a daughter of Group 1 winner Temida and comes from the family of Midships.
