Gleneagles Filly Remains Unbeaten In Class 2 Contest

Una Stonda (2f Gleneagles - Erytheis, by Theatrical) made it two from two in Thursday’s Class 2 contest at Marseille.

Trained by Manon Scandella- Lacaille for Jean Paul Folacci and Sarl Groupe, the bay made a winning debut last month and was sent off favourite to follow up under Guillaume Millet. Drawn wide, she soon chased the leader and produced a challenge early in the straight. Ridden out, she kept on well to deny Ballerina by a short neck on the line.

The daughter of Gleneagles was bred by Paget Bloodstock and is a half-sister to Group 3 scorer Energizer and to the dams of Stakes performers Long Jack (So You Think) and Atzeco (Fastnet Rock).
