Gleneagles Filly Shows Benefit Of Experience On Second Start
The John Gosden-trained Loving Dream (2f Gleneagles - Kissable, by Danehill Dancer) built on an eye-catching debut to take Tuesday’s fillies’ maiden at Wolverhampton.
Lordship Stud’s homebred was slowly away on debut, but stayed on well in the closing stages and made a slight step up to eight and a half furlongs on her second start. Robert Havlin positioned the bay behind the leader, pushing her along from the two furlong marker and his mount obliged to lead close home, winning by a length on the line.
The daughter of Gleneagles is a half-sister to Group 1 performer Amandine, out of Listed winner and Moyglare Stud Stakes third Kissable (Danehill Dancer).
