Smart Filly Continues Perfect Week For Gleneagles

Perfect Times (2f Gleneagles - Al Janadeirya, by Oasis Dream) continued a terrific run for her sire Gleneagles when registering her second career success at Kempton on Wednesday.

Trained by Mark Johnston for owner/breeder Times Of Wigan, the bay made a winning debut over course and distance of six furlongs in July. She was sent off favourite to repeat her feat with Franny Norton, who rode her to make all and was travelling the best of the field with two furlongs left to race. Ridden to quicken approaching the final furlong, she ran on well to win by a length and three quarters.

Perfect Times continues an already successful week for second season sire Gleneagles, whose son Teed Up won Tuesday’s rated race at Galway, while newcomer Star Seeking earned rising star status on Monday.
