It was a second consecutive Grade 1 victory for Fully Subscribed (4f Tiz the Law x Sweetbaby, by Candy Ride) on Sunday when she made easy work of the Gr.1 Spinster S. at Keeneland. Racing in a small but talented field in the 1 1/8 mile race, Fully Subscribed allowed champion Immersive to take up front running duties while shadowing her to keep the pace honest. Fully Subscribed raced in the two path to the outside of Counting Stars before that one dropped back to go to an outside path. A supremely confident Flavien Prat let Fully Subscribed gallop to the lead coming into the stretch with the Tiz The Law daughter taking it over easily. Counting Stars tried to close on her but wasn’t a serious challenge with Fully Subscribed winning by 3 ¼ lengths for her third consecutive victory. “A three-horse field can be kind of a Tom-and-Jerry game,” Prat said. “But she jumped well and everything set up good. She was traveling well and gave me a good run. Obviously when I saw (jockey) Irad (Ortiz Jr. on Counting Stars) coming around, I asked her to get going and she responded well, and after that I was just trying to save some energy.” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mrJbQIy70cU Fully Subscribed has won six of her 10 starts with four of those being graded stakes wins for the Chad Brown trainee. The filly was a $300,000 purchase by Klaravich Stable as a 2-year-old and has paid her owner back in spades with over $1.4 million in earnings. Bred by Payson Stud, Fully Subscribed is one of two stakes performers out of Sweetbaby. A three-time winner herself, Sweetbaby has produced two winners from two to race with her other being 2026 stakes placed juvenile Severely Overpayin. Sweetbaby is one of eight winners from nine to race out of the Grade 1 winning Rutherienne, who saw another daughter produce stakes winner Bohemian. Rutherienne is one of five stakes performers out of her own dam, the stakes winning Ruthian. Sweetbaby had a full brother to Fully Subscribed last year with that colt selling for $1 million at Fasig-Tipton Saratoga in August. Tiz the Law has 12 stakes winners in 2026, putting him eighth among all North American sires with his 29 stakes horses sixth best.
