Super Seth had just one entry in the Inglis Ready 2 Race Sale on Thursday and the colt attracted plenty of interest before selling to Hermitage Thoroughbreds for $475,000. Consigned by Ohukia Lodge, the colt is the second foal of Dollarbeel, a half-sister to Group III winner Epee Beel tracing back to fourth dam, Champion NZ 3YO Filly Nimue. He was a successful pinhook having been bought from Karaka Book 1 for $200,000 by Ohukia Lodge. Hermitage Thoroughbreds bought Group I winning colt Tron Bolt at this sale last year on the advice of respected bloodstock agent Guy Mulcaster, who will be hoping for similar success with this lovely colt that will join the Chris Waller stable. “We went to Ohukia the other day and looked at three or four horses and Chris (Waller) came around as well and the Super Seth was his pick of them,” said Guy Mulcaster. Super Seth is busy covering his first book of Australian mares this spring at a fee of $137,500.
