Come What May (3c Nathaniel - Desert Berry, by Green Desert) made it two wins from as many starts with an impressive win in the Listed Trigo Stakes at Leopardstown on Sunday. The Ballydoyle-trained colt had run out a clear-cut winner on his debut at the Curragh last month and, stepping up in class, produced another authoritative display. Ridden by Wayne Lordan, the Coolmore homebred disputed the lead and pressed the leader from the halfway stage, leading over two furlongs out and going clear to win by six lengths. Stable representative Chris Armstrong said of the full-brother to Derby hero Desert Crown: "In fairness he just took time to come to hand. He's a big horse and Aidan gave him all the time he needed to strengthen up. He was fierce impressive the first day at the Curragh but I think he was even more impressive here. To come here with just one run and to do that against horses with plenty of experience and solid form was ultra impressive. “He'll even appreciate going up in trip again. He's in the horses in training sale but whether they take him out and keep him for next year will be decided over the next week. I'd say he's a horse with above average ability."
