Bengal Tiger (2c No Nay Never - On Ice, by Galileo) gained his first win with a dominant success at Naas on Sunday. The Ballydoyle-trained colt had stepped forward from his debut outing with a fine second at Naas last month. He was sent off a warm favourite to oblige at the third attempt and duly did so, making all under Ryan Moore and going clear from the halfway stage to score by 12 lengths. Aidan O'Brien said: “We're delighted with him, he's a lovely horse. He had a grand run the first day and came forward lovely the next day. “He jumped forward mad again but that's what they have been doing from their first, to their second and their third. Ryan really liked him. He was impressive.” He added: “He's going to be lovely for next year, when they start progressing like that. He galloped through the line easily. I think he'll go to seven anyway and might get a mile next year. He's a lovely natured horse.” Bengal Tiger was bred by the On Ice Partnership.
