Wall Street (2c Sea The Stars - Angel’s Point, by Dark Angel) maintained his unbeaten record with victory in the Group 3 Eyrefield Stakes at Leopardstown on Saturday. The Ballydoyle-trained colt caught the eye when landing a maiden at the track in August, defeating subsequent Group 1-placed Jesus Green and Group 3 Zetland Stakes scorer Drumbeat. Ridden by Wayne Lordan again, Wall Street was in touch early on and was asked to close under three furlongs out, switching right thereafter and leading narrowly over a furlong out. The pair kept on well to win by half a length. Stable representative Chris Armstrong said: "He has the makings of a smashing colt for next year. All being well, he'll come back here for one of the trials. "There's still plenty of improvement in there and he's one who'll make the winter a wee bit shorter." Wall Street was bred by Genesis Green Stud.
