Timur (2c Blackbeard - Ninetta, by New Approach) secured a third win with a comfortable victory at Dieppe on Tuesday. Trained by Mathieu Pitart, Timur had won on debut at Lyon Parilly in March and added a second victory to his name with another comfortable success at Dieppe this month. Ridden by Cristian Demuro, the son of Blackbeard made virtually all and battled back when challenged at the final furlong to score by a length and three-quarters. Timur was bred by Haras de Saint Julien.
