Guinelot (3f Camelot - Tilett, by Rock Of Gibraltar) gained her first win with a game score at Ballinrobe on Monday. The Ken Condon-trained filly was stepping down in trip after runs at Down Royal and Killarney recently, including when fourth at the latter last week. Ridden by Donagh O'Connor, Guinelot tracked the leader before taking up the lead over two furlongs out. She was joined with a furlong left to run, but dug in deep to win by a head at the line. O'Connor said: "I walked the track and it's lovely ground. It's always important to be handy around here, but there's a tailwind behind us in the straight, so it's even more of an advantage this evening. "She had a good run in Killarney last week. She had a good look when she got to the front, and Billy's filly was just helping me along in the straight." Guinelot was bred by Monique Lepeudry.
