Daenerys Lips (2f Starspangledbanner - Deia, by Soldier Hollow) became the latest stakes winner for her sire with success in the Listed Youngster Steher Cup at Hannover on Sunday. Trained by Andreas Suborics, the two-year-old was ridden by Benjamin Marie and the pair were always to the fore, taking up the lead with less than 300 metres to run and going clear to score by three and a quarter lengths. Marie said: "That was an easy win. I was sure she would like the distance and the ground, and I think we have a good filly for next year.” Out of a Listed-winning full-sister to Group 1 Grosser Preis von Berlin scorer Dschingis Secret, Daenerys Lips was bred by Gestüt Westerberg.
