Downonmainstreet (2f No Nay Never - Hooray, by Invincible Spirit) gained her first win with a comfortable score at Chepstow on Thursday. The Michael Bell-trained filly had built on her debut effort with a third at Sandown last month, beaten just three-quarters of a length, and she duly stepped up again with a three-length win under David Egan. Downonmainstreet made all and was ridden over a furlong out to strike in clear-cut fashion. In second was Rogue Dakota (by Sioux Nation). Out of Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes winner Hooray, Downonmainstreet was bred by Newstead Breeding.
