La Fuerza (2c Churchill - Spanish Intent, by Acclamation) landed his first win with a game victory at Wolverhampton on Tuesday. The Simon and Ed Crisford-trained colt had run twice before, building on his debut effort with a third at Pontefract last month. He stepped up again to make it third time lucky. Ridden by Harry Davies, the son of Churchill was positioned in midfield before switching right over a furlong out after not getting a clear run. He was ridden out and led inside the final 110 yards to score by a neck. From the top-class family of Champion Miler Kingman and last year's Cartier Champion Three-Year-Old Filly Minnie Hauk, La Fuerza was bred by China Horse Club.
