Green Dreamer (2c Churchill - Power's Dream, by Power) gained his first win at the second attempt with a front-running score at Leopardstown on Thursday. The Joseph O’Brien-trained colt finished fifth on debut at Killarney this month and took a step forward with a two-length win in the hands of Dylan Browne McMonagle. Green Dreamer made all and increased the pace of the race from two furlongs out. He ran on well inside the final furlong to win comfortably, with Darkness Falls (by Camelot) finishing in third. O'Brien said: "He had a nice debut run and we thought that he'd improved. "I'd say probably the first three are good horses and it was a good race. The second horse [Shakespeare] looked green and our horse was very genuine and straight. "He'll probably step into one of those mile stakes races now." Green Dreamer was bred by Kilfeacle Stud.
