Royal Message (2f No Nay Never - Royal Intervention, by Exceed And Excel) landed her first win when comfortably scoring at Newcastle on Friday. The Watership Down Stud and W S Farish homebred was building on three previous starts, including when fifth to subsequent Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint star Libertango (by No Nay Never) at Leicester on her debut, with a length and a quarter success in the hands of Kieran Shoemark. Trained by Ed Walker, Royal Message settled in midfield and made smooth headway from two furlongs out, leading inside the final 110 yards to win in promising fashion.
