Western (2c Saxon Warrior - Wild Motion, by Motivator) became the latest two-year-old winner for Saxon Warrior with a comfortable score at Munich on Sunday. The Henk Grewe-trained colt was ridden by Thore Hammer Hansen and he was not pushed out to win by a ready length and a quarter. A half-brother to Listed winner Wild Gloria and out of a half-sister to Group 2 Park Hill Stakes winner Wild Coco, Western was bred by Gestut Rottgen. Western looks another promising juvenile for Saxon Warrior, with fellow two-year-old, Asander, striking on his second outing at Newcastle on Saturday.
