Reformation (3g No Nay Never - Considered Opinion, by Redoute's Choice) made it two wins from as many starts with a straightforward score at Newcastle on Saturday. The Andrew Balding-trained gelding had run out a two-length winner on his debut at Salisbury last month and backed up that effort with a second score as the warm favourite. Ridden by Alistair Rawlinson, Reformation travelled prominently and led from two furlongs out. The son of No Nay Never was asked for his effort inside the final furlong and came home best to strike by a length. In third was League Of Justice (by Justify). Reformation was bred by Car Colston Hall Stud.
