Nail House (2c No Nay Never - J'Ouvert, by Dawn Approach) made the perfect start to his career with a debut win at Fairyhouse on Wednesday. The Joseph O’Brien-trained colt was ridden by Joey Sheridan and the pair pressed the leader before challenging for the lead a furlong out. Nail House was ridden out to lead inside the final 110 yards and score by half a length. O'Brien said: “He did well to win, I thought it was a messy race. He was a bit keen and it was a bit rough early for his debut. He looks like a nice horse and you’d like the start he made. I suppose he’ll probably be sticking to six [furlongs] for the moment. “He was green and it was probably hard to get him organised. We probably ended up a place further forward than we expected to be.” Nail House was bred by Lynn Lodge Stud.
