She Was The One (4f Vadamos - Bollin Jasmine, by Silver Patriarch) gained her first win under rules with a comfortable score in the mares’ bumper at Listowel on Friday. Trained by Denis Hogan, the filly had placed on her two previous bumper starts, having also finished second in a point-to-point at Oldcastle for Stuart Crawford. Ridden by Harry Swan, the bay made all and went clear over a furlong out, pulling four lengths clear of another daughter of Vadamos in Shuil Solas. Hogan said: "She had a couple of nice runs and a lovely run [when second] in a point-to-point as well. “It was initially the late Hugh Mulryan who owned her, and I asked was it okay if he sold her to stay in my yard, to owner John Mahon. "I was talking to Liam [Mulryan, Hugh's father] this morning and told him to back her, so I hope he did. She’s improving, I've always liked her and hopefully she has a good future over jumps." She Was The One was bred by the Bollin Jasmine Syndicate.
