$130,000 Keeneland November Weanling For Cupid
Runnymede Farm bred and consigned Hip 341 got Cupid off to top start at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale on Thursday when the filly sold for $130,000 to Patrice Miller of EQB as Agent.
The March-born filly is out of the stakes placed One In a Romp, a half-sister to stakes winners Pinch Pie and Jonesy Boy and one other stakes placed filly in addition to the dam of stakes winner La Fuerza.
Stakes success runs deep in the family with their dam a half-sister to Grade I Breeders’ Cup Classic winner Volponi.
A Keeneland September sale topper, Cupid’s stellar career was headlined by a 3¼ length victory in the Grade I Gold Cup at Santa Anita.
