Champion Clemmie Gives Birth to Justify Filly

Monday saw an exciting addition to Triple Crown winner Justify’s growing roster of superbly bred foals when European Champion 2-Year-Old Clemmie delivered a filly by the Horse of the Year.

A talented Group I winner, Clemmie is out of 2017 Irish Broodmare of the Year Meow. The 5-year-old Clemmie is a full-sister to multiple Champion and dual-classic winner Churchill, who stands at Coolmore Stud in Ireland, and Group III winner Blenheim Palace.

Champions run in Clemmie’s family with her granddam dual British Champion Airwave, who is also the dam of Group III winner Aloof and Listed winner Orator.

The only Triple Crown winner to retire unbeaten, 59 of the mares in-foal to Justify from his first book were Grade/Group I winners or the dams of Grade/Group I winners, including some of the biggest names to hit the track in recent years.
