Yes My Boy (Footstepsinthesand) Wins On Debut at Newcastle

Footstepsinthesand Colt Extends Unbeaten Record

Yes My Boy (3c Footstepsinthesand - Amazing Krisken, by Kris S) made it two from two when making a successful step up in trip at Lingfield on Sunday.

The Archie Watson-trained colt won on debut over a mile in February and carried a penalty as he stepped up to ten furlongs on his latest start. Adam McNamara rode him to make all and asked him to quicken from over two furlongs out, the bay staying on to hold off joint-favourite Chichester by a neck on the line.

Owned by Arjun Waney and bred by Churchtown House Stud, Yes My Boy is a half-brother to two Stakes winners by Galileo. His full-sister sold for €200,000 at last year’s Goffs Orby Sale.
