Footstepsinthesand Colt Gains Second Stakes Success
Saturday saw Elaire Noire (3c Footstepsinthesand – Miss Brazil, by Exceed And Excel) land the first Stakes contest since Italy’s return to racing, the Listed Premio Gardone at Milan.
The Roberto Blondi-trained colt made all of the running and won by half a length to gain his second Stakes success, bringing his race record to four wins from five career starts.
Owned by Luigi Pietro Roveda, Elaire Noire was bred by Old Carhue Stud and is the first foal out of Miss Brazil, a half-sister to Britannia Stakes second Ronald R.
