Footstepsinthesand Colt Records Back To Back Wins At Chantilly

Tuesday saw Grand Giomar Step (2c Footstepsinthesand - Dona Sola, by Iffraaj) record back-to-back wins in the Class 2 conditions race at Chantilly.

The Gianluca Bietolini-trained colt got off the mark at the track last month and Ioritz Mendizabal employed similar tactics on his third start, riding the bay to chase the leaders. Pushed along to challenge two furlongs from home, he was ridden to lead a furlong later and was pushed out to score by a length and a quarter.

Owned by Salvatore Alioto and Dream Horse SRL, the son of Footstepsinthesand was bred by George Mullins.
