Footstepsinthesand Mare Wins US Stakes
Posting another Black Type success in the US was Irish bred mare Living the Life (5m Footstepsinthesand x Coulour and Spice, by Machiavellian), who took out the $55,660 Camilla Urso Stakes at Golden Gate.
Switched to North America last year after starting her career in the UK, Living the Life is now with Gary Mandella and was a class above this field in cruising home to win the six furlong sprint by two and a quarter lengths.
She has the overall record of eight wins from 23 starts with prizemoney topping $500,000 and is pictured winning the Grade II Presque Island Downs Masters Stakes.
Living the Life is the best of four winners from Machiavellian mare Colour and Spice.
