Fun lands black-type contest for Footsteps

The Wido Neuroth-trained Funinthesand (4g Footstepsinthesand-Funny Legend, by Funambule) brought more big-race success for Footstepsinthesand on Sunday when successful at Taby in Sweden.

The four-year-old carried the colours of his breeders Stall E & F to victory in the Listed Songline Classic run over 10 furlongs on dirty to a two-length victory under jockey Robert Havlin.

The consistent son of Footsteps had been running well on both turf and dirt in black-type company before this victory. He is a son of Funny Legend, a G3 winner at Ovrevoll and Taby for Stall E & F.
