Kaspersky is Listed winner for Footsteps
Progressive three-year-old Kaspersky (3c Footstepsinthesand-Croanda, by Grand Lodge) was another black-type winner for Footstepsinthesand when scoring well in the Listed Premio d’Estate over a mile in Milan on Sunday.
An easy winner on his Rome debut in March, the La Nuova Sbarra home-bred was bouncing back after failing to act on testing ground on his previous run.
After scoring by a length, jockey Umberto Rispoli predicted a good future for the Footsteps colt. “His trainer Endo Botti called me and he was so confident. Kaspersky is a nice colt and will improve a lot,” Rispoli told EBN.
Footstepsinthesand also made his mark in Hong Kong on Sunday when Helene Spirit (7g Footstepsinthesand-Arazena, by Woodman) won the HKG3 Premier Cup at Sha Tin
