No Nay Never Colt Not For Catching In Listowel Stakes
A fine front-running ride saw the progressive Visualisation (3c No Nay Never - Roselita, by Sadler’s Wells) record his first Stakes victory in Tuesday’s Listed Listowel Stakes.
The Joseph O’Brien-trained colt came into the nine furlong contest with three wins to his name, including a premier handicap success, while he also claimed runners-up honours at Royal Ascot two starts prior.
Leading from the early stages by Declan McDonogh, the son of No Nay Never was ridden approaching the final furlong and kept on well to win by two and a half lengths.
“I think he is improving all the time,” assistant trainer Brendan Powell commented after the race. “He stays well, is very genuine and has won that well in the end.”
Owned by Mrs Anne Marie O’Brien, Visualisation was bred by Whisperview Trading out of a full-sister to dual Stakes winner Precious Gem (Sadler’s Wells).
