Ohnojoe (2c Footstepsinthesand - Tadkhirah, by Acclamation) ran out a commanding winner of Wednesday’s six furlong novice stakes at Catterick.

A promising third on debut last month, the Olly Williams-trained colt faced that race’s runner-up on his second start, with his rival heading the market. Racing prominently under Phil Dennis, he was pushed clear from the two furlong pole and kept on well to reverse the form by a length and three quarters.

Owned by Mrs Hilary Townsend, the son of Footstepsinthesand was bred by Lynda Masterson and Elm Equine Ltd.
