US Stakes-Winner for Footstepsinthesand

A multiple winner in Ireland, talented mare Queen of the Sand (4m Footstepsinthesand x Lough Mewin, by Woodman) broke through for her first Black Type success when saluting in the Kathryn Crosby Stakes at Del Mar. Now with Patrick Gallagher, Queen of the Sand scored an impressive two and a quarter length in the one mile contest on turf. Queen of the Sand has won seven of 20 starts and is the 41st stakes-winner for Footstepsinthesand and is a half-sister to stakes-placed Rydan from Lough Mewin, a half-sister to stakes-winners Whilte Gulch and Bodyguard.
