Daughter Of Getaway Makes Perfect Start

Georgi Girl (3f Getaway - Gales Hill, by Beau Sher) shaped with great promise when running out a comfortable winner of the fillies’ three-year-old hurdle at Ludlow.

Tom O’Brien took the ride aboard the Philip Hobbs-trained newcomer and positioned his mount at the back of the field. Improving into second on the turn for home, she led from three out and was shaken up at the second last. Keeping on under hands and heels, she won by five and a half lengths, with another 20 lengths back to the third.

Owned by Michael Rembaum and Michael Tuckey, the daughter of Getaway was bred by the Red Marble Syndicate.
